Each year we develop various advertising to entice Alumni to purchase their Clemson Class Ring. This year we created ads for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day. While working remotely during a pandemic brings unique challenges (such as not having access to your camera or studio equipment), it also brings unique opportunities for creative problem solving.
In this case, the challenge was to setup a compelling, themed shot suitable for each ad using objects, backgrounds and lighting available at home. I was also able to utilize photos I had taken previously, such as the Class of 2021 rings used in the Valentine's Day ad, and the Class of 1983 ring used in the Father's Day ad. The Mother's Day and Father's Day ads were shot with my iPhone 8 Plus.
